Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

JoyZap Child Safety Standards

JoyZap is an 18+ social celebration and gifting platform where people connect around meaningful events and send digital gifts, cards, and time capsules. Joy should always feel safe, so protecting people from abuse and exploitation is fundamental to our service.

Safety is not optional

These standards apply to every person, account, and type of content on JoyZap, regardless of where it is created or viewed.

Our standard

A clear and absolute prohibition

JoyZap categorically prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). There are no exceptions for humor, private exchanges, or off-platform intent.

  • ×Sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, including grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, or trafficking.
  • ×Creating, uploading, storing, sharing, distributing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • ×Content that sexualizes minors or attempts to normalize, encourage, or facilitate their exploitation.
  • ×Using JoyZap gifts, cards, events, messages, profiles, or any other feature for child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE).

Report a concern

Help us act quickly

If you see content or behavior that may involve a child-safety risk, report it immediately. Do not download, save, comment on, or reshare suspected CSAM.

contact@joyzap.net
  1. 1

    Use the in-app Report action

Open the relevant content and select Report from its available actions.

  2. 2

    Describe the child-safety issue

Choose the closest report reason and add enough detail for our team to locate and review the concern.

  3. 3

    Email urgent or additional details

Include the JoyZap username, content or event link, and a short description. Do not attach or forward suspected CSAM.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first, then notify JoyZap.

Our response

What JoyZap does after a report

01

Review

We assess reports and available account or content information, prioritizing credible child-safety concerns.

02

Remove and restrict

We remove confirmed CSAM and other violating content, and may restrict, suspend, or terminate the responsible accounts.

03

Escalate

We have a process to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority as required by applicable law.

JoyZap complies with applicable child-safety laws and cooperates with lawful requests from competent authorities. Our 18+ age requirement is an additional safeguard; it does not reduce or replace these child-safety commitments.

Dedicated child-safety contact

The designated JoyZap point of contact for child-safety reports and potential Google Play notifications is contact@joyzap.net. This mailbox is monitored by a team able to discuss our review and enforcement procedures and take action when required.
